Airside Standards and Planning Manager

Perth Airport is offering an outstanding opportunity for an experienced aviation specialist to join the team.

As Airside Compliance and Planning Manager you will develop and implement airside safety management standards and procedures, auditing compliance to ensure airside operations are being conducted in accordance with statutory and corporate requirements. You will also develop and manage the planning of airside works in accordance with company and regulatory standards, minimising as far as reasonably practicable, the risks to the operations of the aerodrome and aircraft to ensure an efficient and safe operating environment is provided during major airside works.

As an integral member of the Airside Safety Team, you will review, maintain and update regulatory compliance manuals including the Aerodrome Manual and Airside Safety Management System (SMS) Manual, ensuring they meet the airport safety and all statutory requirements.

Working closely with the Corporate Risk and Asset Management teams, you will develop and implement standards, processes and procedures in addition to establishing and maintaining an integrated work plan for airside construction activities effecting aircraft operations. In conjunction with the Airside Operations Manager you will manage the airside vehicle and driver program, including the development of operational standards for drivers and vehicles as well as the production of appropriate documentation and training materials.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years operational experience in the aviation industry and have excellent knowledge of CASA MOS 139 and aviation requirements. You will have a strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills. Experience in developing quality assurance programs will be favourably viewed.
