Domestic Terminal 3 Upgrade
Works have now commenced on the upgrade of the Domestic Terminal 3 Departure Lounge.
Coming soon are new food and beverage outlets including Red Rooster, Hudsons Coffee and Sumo Salad as well as new seating areas and upgraded restrooms.
These works will be completed in September 2010 with additional stages of the upgrade including new aerobridges and a walkway to the aircraft to continue until mid 2011.

Car Rental Upgrade
Works have also now commenced to improve access to the Car Rental area at the Domestic Terminals.
Improvements will include a new wider pedestrian walkway with overhead canopies for protection from the weather and expanded Car Rental parking areas to improve vehicle pick-up and return.
Works are due to be completed in September 2010.
Front of Terminal Redevelopment
A major redevelopment to improve vehicle and pedestrian access at the front of the Domestic Terminals was completed earlier this year.
A passenger pick-up and drop-off lane, closest to the terminal forecourt is now in operation, along with dedicated traffic lanes for taxis, buses and the general public.
Terminal access along the front of the Domestic Terminals has also been enhanced with the widening of the forecourt and the re-aligning of footpaths.
International Terminal Expansion
During the next three years, significant investments will be undertaken at the International Terminal as part of Perth Airport’s Phase 1 redevelopment plans.
Last year, more than 10 million passengers travelled through Perth Airport and we are investing to improve the efficiency and space for travellers as part of the overall redevelopment plans. The customer experience will be improved with the following exciting upgrades:
• Expanded baggage reclaim area
• Expanded quarantine and inspection hall
• Expanded arrivals hall
• Additional check-in counters
• Additional aircraft boarding gates
• Significant expansion to the departures lounge
• New retail options
